$280,000.00/yr - $320,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Greenfield Project: Lead design and development of a complex, global trading system a rare opportunity to build from the ground up. Algorithmic Trading & Smart Order Routing: Develop advanced algorithmic trading strategies and smart order routing systems to optimize trade execution across multiple venues. Low-Latency Messaging: Engineer high-volume, low-latency messaging solutions for electronic trading using technologies such as Aeron. Cloud-based services and distributed platforms: Design and develop secure, scalable cloud-based services, APIs, and distributed architectures to support high-frequency trading. Agile software engineering: Contribute to full lifecycle Java development within an Agile environment, leveraging big data technologies to power real-time trading applications. Work environment: Contribute to a collaborative culture recognized as an award-winning workplace. Requirements
7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a focus on high-performance systems Deep expertise in Java programming Proven track record in low-latency front-office trading system development Strong understanding of microservices architecture Experience in API design and integration with messaging systems Knowledge of Aeron preferred Experience in front-office trading environments Strong collaboration skills and ability to tackle complex technical challenges Benefits & notes
