Partner with business and engineering teams to evolve and improve the recordkeeping ecosystem, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk mitigation and platform stability. Champion innovation in software architecture, drive standardization, and deliver technology solutions. Help craft the product roadmap in alignment with business goals. Collaborate with other Architects to formulate strategy and lead all aspects of design, implementation and deployment of end-to-end solutions. The Expertise And Skills You Bring
10+ years of industry experience in architecting distributed systems and applications. 3+ years of Azure and/or AWS experience. AWS and/or Azure certification also a plus. Ability to analyze business direction and problems, understand long-term vision and risk in developing strategic technical solutions. Authoritative knowledge of APIs, microservices architecture, infrastructure, data architecture, security, and expertise in one or more of these areas. Working knowledge of technical architecture (operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization). Authoritative understanding of the agile development process and DevOps practices. Experience with multiple enterprise technologies and collaboration with peer architects to refactor business processes, improve customer experience or perform capability rationalization. Ability to work independently and with various levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ensure technology decisions align with enterprise standards and strategy. Strong presentation, documentation, communication and influencing skills for working with both business partners and IT leadership/implementation teams. Experience networking across business units and with external partners to optimize reusable processes, patterns, and practices. Willingness to experiment, innovate, and engage resources to learn and grow solutions. Understanding of mainframe technology is desired but not required; mainframe modernization experience desirable.
