We are looking for a

Project Manager

to join our Water team in either

Hyannis, MA

or

Burlington, MA ! With at least 10 years of professional experience, you will work on project planning, design and construction for various water related projects in the region (wastewater, drinking water, stormwater). This role also offers the opportunity to lead our talented multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

Engineering Solutions Design: Design engineering solutions and the associated validation process to enable the realization of a design brief that conforms to organizational and/or regulatory standards.

Engineering Standards Specification: Contribute to the analysis of information, the drafting of engineering standards and specifications, and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards within own engineering discipline.

Project Management: Deliver small- or medium-scale projects while working within an established program management plan.

Process Design Engineering: Analyze information and specify the methods and process steps, as well as the plant, machinery, and equipment, required to design and continuously improve processes and process systems to deliver the end product within specified cost and quality parameters.

Contract Management: Deliver required outcomes by managing day-to-day relationships with contract service providers while working within an established contract management plan.

Product and Solution Development: Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches within established systems.

Knowledge Management System: Work within established knowledge management systems to deliver preset outcomes for an area of responsibility.

Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities through assessment and development planning activities, training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill potential. Maintain an understanding of technology, regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education.

Engineering Inspections: Carry out inspections to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures, and specify remedial works to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements.

Improvement/Innovation: Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use change management programs to address them.

Client & Customer Management (External): Manage relationships with small clients while helping senior colleagues manage relationships with larger key clients and customers.

What you will bring to the team

Bachelor\'s and/or Master\'s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Registered MA Professional Engineer (Civil and/or Environmental) is required

10+ years of municipal water/wastewater/stormwater experience; previous work in the State of Massachusetts is a plus

Water and wastewater planning, design (collection systems, pump stations, wastewater and/or water treatment facilities), construction experience a plus
