Overview
Role: SAP - TM - Manager - Consulting. Location: Anywhere in Country. This role is part of EY’s SAP practice and focuses on delivering SAP Transportation Management projects to help clients unlock value. In this role you will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate models, processes and operations, translate requirements into technical specifications, and design and deliver system architecture solutions. Some travel to meet client needs is expected (approximately 40–60%). Responsibilities
Lead workstream delivery and ensure effective management of processes and solutions. Track deliverable completion and project status, ensuring alignment with performance objectives. Actively participate in client working sessions, leading workstreams from planning through execution and closure. Demonstrate strong business acumen alongside in-depth technical expertise, with the ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge. Lead and deliver high-quality SAP projects or workstreams, monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping key stakeholders informed of outcomes. Build and maintain relationships with client personnel at all appropriate levels. Skills and Attributes for Success
Strong analytical skills to develop solutions to complex problems. Proven ability to manage engagement economics and resource planning. Experience in leading teams and managing change effectively. Ability to identify opportunities for additional services and lead specific RFP responses. Ability to translate stakeholder needs into functional designs and manage configurations and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems. What You’ll Need to Qualify
A bachelor’s degree. Typically, 4–6 years of relevant experience. At least 3 years of experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM). Strong technical skills in application functional design. Expertise in technology business requirements definition, analysis, and mapping. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills. Ability to build and manage relationships effectively. Capacity for critical thinking and complex problem-solving. Experience in hybrid collaboration and driving outcomes. Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs (travel estimated 40–60%). Nice to Have
Prior consulting industry experience. SAP certification(s). Experience with at least one full cycle implementation of your core module. Experience in project management and tracking deliverable completion. Experience in managing client relationships and expectations. A strong background in technology analysis and implementation. Comprehensive compensation and benefits package based on performance. Base salary range: $142,600–$261,500; New York City Metro, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento): $171,200–$297,200. Total rewards include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and a wide range of paid time off. Hybrid model: most client-facing roles are expected to work in person 40–60% of the time over an engagement or year.
