Responsibilities
Accountable for either managing client relationship(s) related to a trust tax services contract and the related team that services the client(s), or take ownership of a subject matter specialty that is unique and needed by the trust tax practice
Work autonomously with clients and trust administrators in resolving difficult issues with positive outcomes
Manage day-to-day activities and output of the team assigned to the engagement ensuring that all deliverables are met in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy
Act as a role model in both ability and values to other members assigned to the team
Qualifications
Minimum eight years of recent public accounting and/or trust tax experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list
Must be able to meet challenging client requirements and possess strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, analytical and research abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of Internal Revenue Code as it relates to trusts and estates
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and a detailed knowledge of the Thomson Reuters OneSource Trust Tax platform
Experience mentoring and counseling manager and staff level team members
