APTIM is seeking a
Stormwater Project Manager
who will be responsible for the planning, development, management, and implementation of storm water compliance projects. In this role, a successful candidate will support stormwater regulatory compliance related project work across the West, with a focus on California, Oregon, and Washington state. The selected individual will be responsible for leading industrial stormwater support activities that include but are not limited to: overseeing the preparation and implementation of stormwater permit applications and planning documents, overseeing technical teams conducting monitoring, sampling and inspections, and performing regulatory technical reviews. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Provide compliance support to industrial clients with respect to NPDES requirements under the Clean Water Act. Perform standard project management duties to include overseeing project budget, invoicing, cost management, schedule, subcontractor management, team management, and client communications. Interface with clients to ensure client satisfaction and develop new opportunities. Oversee completion of assigned work activities with ability to manage own time to meet deadlines and deliver quality work products. Perform thorough technical review of reports to determine regulatory compliance, identify non-compliance issues, and recommend corrective actions. Interface with project databases and tools to measure project performance and KPIs. Support client development efforts through proposal preparation for water resources projects throughout the region.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field (civil engineering, geology, environmental sciences) desirable. Registered PE in CA, WA, or OR is a plus. 10+ years of experience providing project management services, with emphasis on stormwater related services. Experience managing and delivering stormwater-related projects as Project Manager. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in developing and implementing permit and planning documents. Team player with track record of meeting deadlines and client satisfaction. Ability to work independently and as part of a project team; able to adapt to changing conditions and solve routine problems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. Experience in leading large projects and teams.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $115,000 to $135,000 per year. Compensation depends on several factors including experience, education, key skills, geographic location, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
