Reporting to the Director, Corporate Reporting, the Manager, Financial Reporting leads a small team responsible for internal and external reporting of consolidated results and operating metrics, prepares tax and entity reporting and maintains stakeholder relationships with Taxation. Position responsibilities

Coordinate amongst multiple teams detailed management and integrated reporting activities on a recurring basis to support rapid and accurate period-end reporting Maintain exemplary relationships with internal stakeholders that support the reporting process (accounting and finance teams, operational metrics teams) and with senior leadership and investor relations Coordinate preparation and review of executive reports on financial results, including operating metrics, business drivers and variance explanations (monthly flash reports, quarterly earnings per share and operating ratio waterfalls with supporting schedules) Review tax and entity financial statements, manage subsidiary audits for tax and regulatory compliance, and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with Taxation Review external financial disclosures on consolidated variances of financial results Review journal entries and account reconciliations in support of Corporate Reporting Identify, analyze and reconcile inconsistent information and recommend adjustments where necessary Identify and support process improvements and monitor existing processes to ensure continuous improvement Lead or support team projects and initiatives including quarter-end and year-end external and management reporting, process documentation, data management and system optimization Coach, supervise and develop direct reports Ensure financial reporting and disclosures comply with US GAAP and securities regulations, and that processes comply with SOX requirements Address queries from auditors and internal reviewers Position requirements

Accounting designation, CPA or CA Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (public company external reporting or audit preferred) Minimum of 2 years of management or leadership experience including coaching, motivating, team building, and process reviews Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders Ability to set and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills What CPKC has to offer
