About the Role
As a Senior Accountant at STN Incorporated, you\'ll play a pivotal role in the finance team, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, driving process improvements, and supporting both operational and strategic financial initiatives. This role has the potential to transition from a contract position to a full-time hire. Key Responsibilities
Month-End/Quarter-End/Year-End Close:
Lead and coordinate closing processes, including journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and ensuring data completeness. General Ledger & Reconciliations:
Manage general ledger activities and regularly reconcile accounts—bank, intercompany, investments, fixed assets, capital leases, debt, prepaids, other asset, other liabilities, etc. Financial Analysis & Budgeting:
Conduct Balance Sheet variance analysis, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide actionable insights for decision-making. Audit & Tax Support:
Compile support for external auditors, prepare documentation, assist with audit inquiries, and help with tax preparation and compliance. Internal Controls and Process Improvement:
Maintain effective internal control systems, identify inefficiencies, and implement process enhancements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 4–6+ years of progressive combined public and private accounting experience preferably in the technology industry CPA certification preferred but not required Deep understanding of US GAAP Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Advanced formulas, etc.). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ease collaborating across teams. Capable of managing priorities and deadlines effectively.
