Seurat Technologies
Overview
Seurat is transforming manufacturing for people and our planet by delivering a scalable additive manufacturing solution to fundamentally change how products are made. Seurat’s proprietary Area Printing process, developed at Lawrence Livermore National Labs (LLNL), allows metal components to be manufactured at price points and quality levels that compete directly with conventional manufacturing techniques, enabling the reshoring of supply chains and promoting the decarbonization of industry. Seurat has raised over $180M and is backed by leading venture partners like Capricorn, NVentures (NVIDIA), True Ventures, General Motors Ventures, Denso, Porsche SE, SIP global partners, Honda, Xerox Ventures/Myriad Venture Partners, Cubit Capital, Siemens Energy, and Maniv Mobility. Liquid Crystal Materials Scientist Looking for a talented and self-motivated engineer to help produce our revolutionary liquid crystal-based electro-optic patterning devices. This is a great opportunity to grow with the company and establish the methods and procedures that will be in place as we scale to production.Liquid crystal, chemistry, andOptics backgroundspreferredwith a strong formal background in the processing, development, testing of liquid crystal for electro-optical applications. The role involves all aspects of characterization of an electro optic device from incoming raw materials to system validation, as well as leading the continuous improvement cycle. The ideal candidate combines practical hands-on experience inliquid crystal formulation, characterization, qualitycontroland continuous improvement focus.
