Associate / Senior Associate – Power & Utilities Private Equity Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our private equity investment team focused on the power, utilities, and energy transition sectors. The role will support the sourcing, evaluation, execution, and management of investments across conventional and renewable power generation, transmission & distribution, utilities, and related infrastructure businesses. Responsibilities
Conduct market research and develop investment theses in the power & utilities sector, including renewable energy, grid infrastructure, and regulated utilities. Perform detailed financial modeling, valuation analyses, and scenario planning for potential investments. Support all aspects of transaction execution, including due diligence, structuring, documentation, and closing. Assist in originating opportunities through industry relationships, advisors, and internal networks. Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for the Investment Committee. Monitor portfolio company performance, prepare reporting materials, and support value creation initiatives. Stay informed on regulatory, policy, and market trends impacting the power and utilities sector. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 2–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, project finance, or corporate development, ideally with a focus on power, utilities, or energy infrastructure. Seniority level
