Senior Actuary

Responsibilities
Perform actuarial analysis of forecasting, cash flow testing, pricing, reserving, and financial modeling for annuity and life products for insurance companies.
Actuarial analysis of annuity products.
Actuarial pricing and valuation.
U.S. statutory financial reporting.
Actuarial analysis of reinsurance risk.
Financial modeling.
GGY AXIS, Prophet, or MG ALFA modeling software.
R-project for statistical computing.
Microsoft Access Database.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Sciences, or closely related (or foreign equivalent), plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in the job offered or assistant or associate actuary.
Experience must include 5 years of working with:
Actuarial analysis of annuity products
Actuarial pricing and valuation
U.S. statutory financial reporting
Actuarial analysis of reinsurance risk
Financial Modeling
GGY AXIS, or Prophet, or MG ALFA Modeling software
R-project for statistical computing
Microsoft Access Database
ASA or FSA designation is required.
May require up to 10% domestic travel.

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid role; in-office 3 days per week)
Salary: $220,000.00 - $250,000.00 per annum
