Ryan is expanding the Federal Income Tax Consulting practice throughout the U.S. We are searching for talent at all levels including but not limited to Manager, Senior Manager, and Director, who are working in public accounting, either currently or in the last 4 years.
In Ryan's flexible work environment, candidates will be considered anywhere in the U.S. for this opportunity.
Responsibilities The role involves providing federal income tax consulting services to corporate clients. Depending on level, you may lead, manage, and execute federal income tax consulting engagements to drive value for Ryan’s corporate clients or be an individual contributor.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of federal income tax, as well as experience with federal income tax consulting and provision. Ryan will consider candidates at the Senior Associate or Senior Consultant level who are ready for promotion to the next level, as well as candidates who are currently in a Manager, Senior Manager, or Director role.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent in Accounting and/or Finance required. 4+ years of experience in Federal Income Tax Consulting and a previous track record of excellent service delivery and working in a team environment.
Computer Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. Workday and Salesforce are applications used at Ryan.
Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver’s license required.
Work Environment
Standard indoor working environment.
Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
Regular interaction with employees and clients both in person and via e-mail and telephone.
Independent travel requirement: 30 to 50%.
50+ hour standard workweek requirement.
