We’re in search of a dynamic HR professional that enjoys pursuing ambitious goals and winning with a team to join us as an HRBP. You will be a proactive liaison between HR and the business, develop a deep understanding of the business, and ensure HR helps the business make an impact. You’ll serve as an informed advisor and change agent, supporting organizational goals and employee engagement. This role requires solid business acumen, effective interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn and drive HR strategies that support a high-performance culture. Responsibilities
Identify pressing talent opportunities and challenges for client groups and reflect workforce implications in the business plan. Inform HR priorities; evaluate demand for new or adjusted HR offerings from business or trends. Execute existing and new HR solutions and capabilities. Partner on hiring and development and advancement of team members; collaborate with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to fill open positions, onboard new hires and build pipelines. Explore external trends in the marketplace and advise on potential internal impact. Take a proactive approach to Employee Relations, providing guidance, policy interpretation and issue resolution. Collaborate with leadership and the HR community to develop and execute HR strategies for organizational changes, including strategic, structural, technological, and people-oriented changes. Help manage change and uncertainty among employees, providing guidance and support during transitions, including communication and engagement activities. Facilitate cultural integration by identifying differences and fostering open dialogue to build an inclusive environment. Assist with onboarding for new hires and offboarding for departing employees. Focus on retaining key talent by identifying critical individuals and implementing retention strategies. Participate in evaluating roles and advise on relative value to ensure fair and competitive compensation in partnership with the Compensation team and HR leadership. Identify and develop high-potential employees and ensure leadership pipelines for key roles. Collaborate with managers to create career development opportunities and foster growth. May design and deliver training programs to enhance skills and support performance management. Maintain transparent, open communication to address concerns and manage expectations. Act as steward of HR policies and procedures, including audits and data accuracy. Provide coaching and support to leaders navigating change. Enable collaboration within HR and across the organization. Listen to business problems, challenge assumptions, inform leaders about talent implications, and propose alternatives. Reprioritize actions for urgent ad-hoc topics as needed. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent. 5+ years in progressive HR with geographically distributed employee populations 1+ year supporting customer experience functions (client and account management, customer service, claims management, etc.) Working knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational behavior Experience facilitating workforce planning and talent management processes Familiarity with talent management processes, such as talent reviews and succession planning Demonstrated ability to influence, build relationships, and communicate across multiple levels Proven experience managing employee relations issues and driving change Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or matrixed environment preferred Preferred Qualifications
SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent HR certification Experience in Finance or Insurance industry Familiarity with Workday Proficiency in Microsoft products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams) Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
