Overview Facilities Engineer at Providence Portland Medical Center - Full-Time, Variable Schedule

The Building Engineer supports the environment required for the delivery of health care services. The building engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of the building systems by monitoring, operating and maintaining building systems and equipment.

Pay range:

$44.74 - $46.24

per hour. Job Schedule: Full time; multiple shifts available.

Responsibilities

Monitor, operate and maintain building systems and equipment to ensure reliability and safety for healthcare delivery.

Support the environment required for patient care and facility operations.

Qualifications

Coursework/Training: Successfully completed a stationary engineer apprenticeship or equivalent training.

Electrician Journeyman License - State County City Trade License Authority upon hire. Or Electrician Limited Building Maintenance License - State County City Trade License Authority upon hire. Or Electrician Limited Energy License - State County City Trade License Authority upon hire. Or Electrician Limited Maintenance License - State County City Trade License Authority upon hire. Or Electrician Master License - State County City Trade License Authority upon hire. Or Electrician Supervisor License - State County City Trade License Authority upon hire.

Experienced in operation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Coursework/Training: Trained in use of computerized building controls system (DDC) or equivalent education/experience.

3 years of experience in central plant operations and maintenance.
