Overview
The Project Execution Engineer will support the Engineering team by managing technical scopes with a primary focus on electrical or mechanical engineering disciplines, while also coordinating across civil, structural, and geotechnical scopes. This role plays a key part in advancing projects from early-stage design through issue-for-construction (IFC), working closely with internal teams including Pre-construction, Procurement, and Construction. Key Responsibilities
Manage engineering scopes and technical coordination across EPC phases, with a focus on electrical or mechanical systems. Support design optimization and constructability reviews for utility-scale renewable energy projects. Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, and construction teams. Coordinate with internal and external experts to resolve technical challenges and ensure compliance with project requirements. Contribute to the development of electrical system designs (e.g., inverter capacity, DC/AC/POI optimization, reactive power studies) or mechanical systems (e.g., structural layouts, thermal systems, equipment integration). Participate in pre-construction planning and execution strategy development. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering. 4-7 years of experience in project execution, preferably in utility-scale renewable energy (solar, wind, or battery storage). Strong understanding of PV and BESS layout design and optimization. Familiarity with electrical or mechanical system design principles, including ampacity, reactive power, component configuration, or structural and thermal systems. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated interest in renewable energy and sustainability.
