Technical Recruiter role at Whatnot. Whatnot is the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe. We are building the future of online marketplaces with a remote, globally distributed team and hubs in the US, UK, Ireland, Poland, and Germany. We are seeking a proactive recruiter to identify and hire top technical talent across engineering teams. Base pay range
$135,000.00/yr - $195,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Identify strong technical candidates by engaging with hiring managers and proactively reaching out to potential candidates. Find or create new sources of talent and innovate sourcing strategies beyond traditional channels. Screen candidates to distill top-of-funnel talent and enable the hiring team to focus on interviewing the best candidates. Manage multiple roles simultaneously and work across multiple pipelines (5-10+ roles as needed). Assist with developing job posts, hiring plans, and screening rubrics; collaborate with hiring managers to streamline the hiring process. Iterate on candidate feedback to improve the recruiting process and candidate experience. Cultivate relationships with individuals and groups to build a broader talent network. Emphasize diversity and inclusive hiring practices to bring diverse points of view to the team. Requirements
5+ years of technical recruiting experience in high-growth startups, specifically supporting engineering teams. Experience evaluating candidates for a range of technical roles (software engineering, security, infrastructure) and ability to manage end-to-end recruitment. Strong partnership with hiring managers, providing guidance throughout the recruitment process. Passion for sourcing, building relationships with passive talent, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and be data-driven in pipeline management. Commitment to diversity hiring and inclusive interview practices.
