This role is ideal for a dynamic HR professional who combines strategic vision with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, multi-location environment. Responsibilities

Strategic Influence: Act as a trusted advisor to regional and store leadership, using data-driven insights to inform workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, and talent initiatives. Leadership Alignment: Coach and guide leaders to align with Burlington’s Core Values and foster a culture of trust, accountability, and performance excellence. People Strategy Execution: Collaborate with leadership to design and implement talent strategies that drive recruitment, retention, and succession planning across field and leadership roles. HR Transformation: Contribute to HR transformation initiatives and deliver strategic communications and insights that support adaptability and growth. Associate Relations and Risk Mitigation: Resolve complex employee relations matters with a strategic mindset; work with internal and external counsel to ensure compliance and manage risk. Courageous Leadership: Make difficult decisions, provide honest feedback, and challenge the status quo to drive positive change in line with core values. Workforce Optimization: Drive performance management initiatives, including performance reviews, feedback, and development plans. Associate Support: Provide guidance on workplace matters to field teams, promoting associate success and well-being. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Champion DEI efforts to create an inclusive environment that leverages workforce strengths. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; PHR/SPHR certification is a plus. Experience: 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR business partnership, employee relations, and talent management. Experience in retail HR is highly preferred. Leadership: Proven ability to coach, influence, and align senior leaders and store teams around organizational goals and values. Change Management: Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and manage organizational change. Legal and Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations; ability to interpret and apply to minimize risk and ensure compliance. Technology and Data: Proficiency with HRIS/ATS systems (e.g., Workday, iCIMS, Paradox) and strong analytical skills. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities. Regional Presence: Willingness to travel regionally to support stores and maintain leadership presence. Benefits and Conditions

Pay Range : $120,000.00 - $156,000.00 per year
