Overview
The Social Media Manager at the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) is a pivotal role on our marketing team, driving the strategic planning and execution of social media and digital content initiatives. This position is responsible for elevating ASCM’s visibility, fostering community engagement, and driving measurable impact across all primary social media platforms and emerging platforms relevant to our audience. Base pay range:

Manage the day-to-day social media presence across several channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube and other relevant/emerging platforms). Develop and manage a dynamic social media communications calendar aligned to the objectives. This includes activities such as product launches, announcements, thought leadership, demand-generation campaigns, live event coverage, news/press/media amplification and partner collaborations. Actively monitor industry trends, emerging social platforms, and relevant conversations within the supply chain sector. Proactively identify opportunities for the brand to lead and contribute to trending discussions, leveraging research, thought leadership insights, and real-time data to drive content creation. Work with the content team to conceptualize and create compelling multimedia content optimized for various social formats, including short-form video (e.g., Reels, Shorts), interactive polls, infographics, carousels, live streams, podcast clips, blog snippets, and email content. Establish and expand our brand's reach within the Gen Z demographic through innovative social media campaigns and content. Implement and manage advanced social media listening and analytics strategies. Develop and present quarterly, monthly, and weekly performance dashboards, providing actionable insights to refine strategies, optimize content, and demonstrate ROI. Help identified stakeholders become brand ambassadors for the organization. Lead real-time social media coverage at strategic events, conferences, and webinars, amplifying news, announcements, and launches to members, media, industry experts, partners, and influencers. Oversee and optimize social media engagement, responding to comments and messages thoughtfully and strategically, and collaborating with relevant internal teams for expert input when necessary. Continuously research and evaluate evolving social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of digital engagement. Coordinate, schedule, and host engaging livestreams, leveraging social channels for promotion and live engagement. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in marketing, communications, digital media, journalism or a related field from an accredited university. Minimum of 3 years of experience managing social media strategy and execution in a corporate, association or agency environment, with a proven track record of achieving measurable results and key performance indicators (KPIs).
