Carry out power supply and system level analysis to determine the root cause of product application failures. Debug and verify functionality of AC/DC and DC/DC switching power supply modules in various topologies using Power Integrations products. Communicate results effectively, in verbal and written form, to drive improvements in product design, process technology, and applications; prepare cogent technical reports suitable for external customers. Requirements
Minimum BSEE or equivalent discipline is required. At least 5 years of experience in power supply application engineering with hands-on experience in switching power supply design and transformer design. Thorough understanding of analog, mixed-signal, or power semiconductor operational characteristics and ability to apply fault isolation techniques at chip and board levels. Mandarin and written Chinese language skills to support regional customers. Compensation and benefits
Power Integrations’s annual base pay range for this position is 109,023 to 163,686. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, qualifications and work location. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position in California; within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Power Integrations also offers a comprehensive total rewards package that includes equity, medical benefits, ESPP, 401K, tuition reimbursement and time off programs.
