Digital Asset builds the technologies that are reshaping the foundations of financial markets. Our mission is to create the world’s most trusted, privacy-enabled, and interoperable digital infrastructure for global finance. At the heart of this mission is the Canton Network - the blockchain purpose-built for institutional finance. Uniquely combining privacy, compliance, and scalability, Canton enables real-time, secure settlement across multiple asset classes. Governed by the Canton Foundation with participation from leading financial institutions, it is the proven link between the promise of blockchain and the power of global finance. This role sits within Digital Asset but has one clear mandate: make the Canton Network famous. You’ll shape its narrative, drive awareness, and scale its presence across crypto-native and institutional audiences - while also ensuring Digital Asset’s own voice and credibility remain strong. We’re looking for a crypto-savvy Head of Social Media & Content to lead Digital Asset’s social strategy, with a primary mission of building Canton’s social presence into one of the most recognized brands in crypto and institutional finance. This is a senior, strategic role - you will own and execute the voice, content, and engagement strategy across social platforms. Content will be created in service of social, as the fuel that drives growth, engagement, and brand fame. You’ll bridge the crypto-native world and institutional finance, producing content that resonates with both audiences, and ensuring Digital Asset and Canton are recognized as leaders in blockchain for financial markets. Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the integrated social-first content strategy for Digital Asset, with primary focus on the Canton Network. Balance and integrate crypto-native channels (X/Twitter, YouTube, Reddit) with institutional channels (LinkedIn, YouTube). Partner closely with executives, product leaders, and ecosystem partners to shape narratives that demonstrate Canton’s leadership in institutional blockchain. Build and lead a small team or network of social specialists and creators to deliver world-class execution. Content Development (in service of social): Own and manage a global social-first editorial calendar spanning threads, video content, ecosystem updates, and thought leadership adapted for social formats. Produce and oversee content across formats: blogs, op-eds, short/long-form video, memes, and podcasts - always optimized for distribution on social channels. Ensure every piece of content advances Canton’s reputation as the first institutional-grade public blockchain, while reinforcing Digital Asset’s broader mission. Social Media Execution: Build a small team and recruit/manage outside help if required. Drive growth, engagement, and visibility across X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Establish Canton’s social presence as authentic, fast-moving, and culturally relevant in crypto, while delivering authority and credibility in institutional contexts. Monitor industry narratives, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to ensure Canton’s voice is responsive, proactive, and leading. Experiment with high-leverage social formats (threads, video clips, memes, AMAs, interactive campaigns) to maximize reach and relevance. Analytics & Performance
Define KPIs for brand visibility, engagement, sentiment, and content performance. Provide regular reporting to the CMO and leadership on growth, risks, and opportunities. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and maximize impact across both DA and Canton. Key Requirements
7+ years leading social media (with content ownership) at scale - ideally across blockchain, fintech, or enterprise tech. Proven track record of running social campaigns that built brand fame and scaled audiences globally. Deep understanding of crypto culture, tokenized ecosystems, and DeFi narratives, combined with the ability to craft messaging that resonates with institutional/TradFi audiences. Excellent writing and storytelling skills - able to make complex concepts simple and compelling. Experience creating and distributing social-first content across diverse formats and platforms. Data-driven operator who can balance creativity with measurable outcomes. Confident working with senior executives and ecosystem partners, with credibility across both crypto-native and financial circles. Bonus: Crypto-native footprint (personal following, published thought leadership, active in online communities). Pay Transparency
