Responsibilities
Develop and execute HR strategies tailored to the unique needs of each business group/business unit in China, ensuring alignment with the company\'s overall business objectives.
Act as a key member of the China leadership team, providing HR insights and strategic advice on organizational design, talent management, and workforce planning across multiple industries.
Lead the HR team in China, ensuring effective implementation of global HR policies while accommodating the specific requirements of local operations.
Talent Acquisition & Development: design and oversee a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract top talent for diverse business units, from technical specialists to experts in TIC industry.
Develop and implement tailored talent development programs, including specialized training, leadership development, and career progression opportunities to meet the distinct needs of various business units.
Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion, ensuring that the workforce reflects the diverse client industries served by the company.
Employee Relations & Compliance: ensure compliance with Chinese labor laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes and advising the business on legal requirements across different industries.
Manage complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, ensuring consistency and fairness across all business units.
Uphold and adapt company policies to suit the varied business lines, ensuring relevance and applicability.
Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs, tailored to the diverse needs of employees across different business lines.
Oversee the annual salary review process, performance appraisal systems, and industry-specific incentive programs.
HR Operations & Analytics: oversee HR operations, including payroll, HRIS, and employee data management for CIF, FUELS and MO, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Utilize HR analytics to provide data-driven insights and recommendations for optimizing HR strategies, considering the unique requirements of each industry sector.
Cultural Integration & Change Management: champion the company\'s values and culture, promoting cross-cultural understanding and collaboration across diverse business lines.
Lead change management initiatives, facilitating smooth transitions and ensuring stakeholder buy-in during organizational changes, such as mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role in China, ideally within a multinational corporation serving diverse industries.
In-depth knowledge of Chinese labor laws and HR best practices across multiple sectors.
Proven experience in strategic HR planning, talent management, and employee relations within a multi-business line environment.
Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and drive change across diverse business units.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Mandarin and English.
Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
