Position summary: As a Sr. Business Consultant I, you use your expertise to help our clients create positive experiences through better systems and processes. Your primary focus is on leading and supporting clients and project teams through business process optimization and ERP implementation engagements. This includes requirements gathering, root cause analysis, and ensuring your project team members develop and implement solutions aligned with those requirements. Responsibilities
Discovery: Lead discovery sessions with clients to clarify and prioritize business goals and objectives; actively listen and ask thoughtful questions. Identify root causes of challenges and opportunities for improvement; align project objectives with discovered goals and root causes. Assess and improve business processes: conduct comprehensive business process assessments with project teams or solo for smaller engagements; identify areas to enhance efficiencies and reduce costs; provide practical recommendations aligned with strategic objectives. Optimizing ERP systems: leverage ERP expertise to optimize system usage; provide guidance on configurations, data management, and integration with other tools; ensure ERP aligns with business requirements. Teaching and training super-users: conduct workshops, train super-users on configuration, limitations, and troubleshooting; empower them to maximize system functionality and manage updates. Project management and controls: create project plans, schedule tasks, manage meetings and agendas, document and manage issues, and track budget vs. actuals, risks, and milestones; manage project scopes and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery. SOW drafting: translate discovery information into Statements of Work detailing client commitments, deliverables, timelines, and resources. Supervisory responsibilities: foster a collaborative and inclusive environment; review and approve timesheets and expense reports; guide development plans and training requests; set annual goals aligned with company objectives; provide ongoing feedback and conduct performance reviews. Salary Range: $120,000-$150,000 Compensation for this role includes a base salary plus an annual discretionary bonus.
