Supervisory Responsibilities: No. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. We recruit Democratic candidates and support Democratic campaigns – both challengers and incumbents – with services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. We look for talented professionals committed to electing Democrats and winning the House majority. Positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle. Position Summary:

The DCCC is seeking a Deputy Email & SMS Director to oversee the production of emails and SMS text messages with the goal of mobilizing grassroots supporters to take action. The Deputy will join the National Grassroots Fundraising team to assist in leading and executing email & SMS strategy, and will help lead a team of Digital Strategists to raise funds from grassroots supporters to support our campaign to take back the House in 2026. This position is part of a collective bargaining unit. Responsibilities

Oversee production of emails and text messages to the DCCC’s grassroots audience. Manage setup of digital fundraising deliverables, including emails, SMS texts, and landing pages; continually optimize processes and platforms for efficiency. Ensure outbound messages meet high standards of grammar, accuracy, functionality, and branding. Serve as primary editor for email & SMS fundraising copy. Execute email and SMS fundraising messages from concept to sending, including drafting, production, QA, segmentation, and deployment. Assist with internal and external copy vetting. Formulate and implement an innovative A/B testing program; analyze results to increase effectiveness and conversion rates. Track fundraising performance and help interpret data reports to inform content, strategy, and segmentation. Develop cross-platform, mobile-optimized emails, donation forms, landing pages, and other web content. Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience with large-scale email and SMS programs on a campaign, committee, digital firm, or large organization. Familiarity with online CRM/CMS (ActionKit or Acoustic IBM Silverpop preferred) and long/short code SMS tools (Switchboard preferred). Willingness to learn new tools and platforms; strong HTML/CSS coding for email. Experience running and analyzing A/B tests; proven final approver for email and text content. Solid understanding of email and landing page design best practices; able to work with large databases and spreadsheets. Experience drafting creative email and SMS fundraising copy. Demonstrated multicultural competence and commitment to cross-cultural awareness and inclusion. Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships across staff levels. Why You Should Work Here
