Overview
Senior Project Manager
to lead our delivery team under the
GPO SecDevOps
program for DecisionPoint Corporation. The Government Publishing Office (GPO) SecDevOps program provides advanced security, development, and operations support to safeguard federal information systems and infrastructure. This initiative integrates cybersecurity best practices with agile development and IT operations to ensure continuous security, compliance, and resilience across GPO’s enterprise IT services. The mission is to protect and enable GPO’s digital transformation by delivering secure, scalable, and reliable IT services in alignment with federal cybersecurity mandates and operational excellence standards.
This position is remote with some local travel to GPO headquarters. Location: Remote — candidates located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area (DMV) are highly preferred. Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the execution of the DevSecOps Task Order in alignment with GPO IT Security Division objectives
Serve as the principal point of contact with the GPO Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and IT Security Division Chief
Oversee staff augmentation efforts involving eight (8) FTEs across security, development, and operations functions
Develop and submit a SECDEVOPS Project Plan and Staff Augmentation Plan within 15 days of the kickoff meeting
Prepare task order management deliverables including business cost analyses, risk registers, mitigation strategies, and tracking schedules
Coordinate communications between GPO IT Security, internal stakeholders, and technical teams
Provide regular program updates, After-Action Reports, and coordinate with the ISSM and project leads on cybersecurity and operational efforts
Ensure quality and timeliness of contractual deliverables and adherence to all performance and inspection criteria
Support RMF A&A processes and ensure security controls, documentation, and compliance artifacts are properly developed and maintained
Manage contractor readiness for Continuity of Operations (COOP) scenarios; ensure DevSecOps personnel are able to support operations at remote sites as needed
Oversee the creation and delivery of key program deliverables including SOPs, technical white papers, security plans, and architecture documentation
Track and report on the status of deliverables, performance metrics, and project milestones
Support recruitment, retention, and performance management of qualified technical staff
Qualifications
8+ years of program or project management experience in IT/cyber environments
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines (or equivalent experience)
Technical Knowledge: Experience with IT systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and/or Xacta 360), cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure and/or AWS), Cyber/Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and federal IT/security standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST, FISMA)
Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, interface with senior government officials, and deliver executive-level briefings
Federal experience (preferred)
Certifications (preferred): Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or equivalent
Security and Compliance
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Location: Remote; DC area candidates preferred
