Position
Federal Partnership Manager
will lead Seceon's channel strategy for the U.S. federal government market, building and managing relationships with federal systems integrators, VARs, and specialized government contractors. This role requires deep understanding of federal procurement processes, security clearance requirements, and compliance frameworks while developing a robust partner ecosystem to drive revenue growth in the federal sector. Territory Coverage Washington DC Metro, Federal Agencies Nationwide, Government Contractors Security Clearance Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred Key Responsibilities
Recruit, onboard, and manage relationships with 15-25 federal-focused channel partners Target federal systems integrators, government VARs, and specialized cybersecurity contractors Develop partnerships with GSA schedule holders and federal contracting specialists Build relationships with prime contractors on major federal cybersecurity initiatives Drive $2.5M+ annual revenue through federal channel partnerships Manage complex federal procurement cycles with average deal sizes of $300K-$500K Support partner-driven opportunities through federal RFP response processes Coordinate with direct federal sales team on strategic account opportunities Federal Compliance & Enablement
Ensure all partners understand and can deliver FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST compliance solutions Develop partner certification programs for federal cybersecurity requirements Provide training on federal procurement processes and contracting vehicles Support partners through security clearance processes and facility requirements Strategic Account Support
Support partners in pursuing opportunities with DoD, DHS, Treasury, Justice, and civilian agencies Develop agency-specific use cases and compliance documentation Facilitate customer reference programs within federal community Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field 8-12 years of federal cybersecurity or channel management experience 5+ years working directly with federal agencies or government contractors Proven track record managing $10M+ federal technology partnerships Security & Compliance
Active Secret security clearance minimum; TS/SCI strongly preferred Deep understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA) Experience with federal procurement processes (FAR, DFARS, GSA schedules) Knowledge of agency-specific requirements (DoD CMMC, CISA directives, OMB policies) Technical Expertise
Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies (SIEM, XDR, EDR, SOAR) Experience with federal network architectures and security requirements Knowledge of cloud security and FedRAMP authorization processes Understanding of federal IT modernization initiatives and zero trust architecture Proven experience building and managing technology channel partnerships Track record of achieving $2M+ annual revenue through channel partners Experience with partner recruitment, enablement, and performance management Strong understanding of federal contracting and subcontracting relationships Preferred Qualifications
Industry Certifications
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) Security+ or higher DoD 8570 certification FedRAMP or federal compliance certifications GSA contracting or federal acquisition certifications Former federal employee or military cybersecurity background Experience with major federal cybersecurity contracts (CIO-SP3, OASIS, SeaPort-e) Established relationships within federal cybersecurity community Experience with federal budget cycles and appropriations processes Seniority level
