VP, Grant Strategy
to join the NACE team. This position will be located in our Paramus NJ or NYC office with a requirement for periodic travel to the NACE office in Sunrise FL, or full time in Sunrise.
Job Overview:
NACE, a Medical Education Company specializing in virtual live meetings for healthcare professions (HCPs), is seeking a Vice President of Grant Strategy. The VP of Grant Strategy will be assigned specific accounts, that they will have consultative responsibilities for. They will also be expected to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team including Medical Affairs, Outcomes, Marketing, Program Management, Product and Studio Production to develop concepts for education solutions that address clinical needs for HCPs and that ultimately impact positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate and consult with supporters and internal stakeholders to identify educational solutions that will meet the needs of HCPs
Oversee the development and submission of concepts and proposals to secure funding for CME/CE initiatives, in compliance with ACCME, Joint Accreditation, grantor guidelines and other relevant standards
Conduct ongoing outreach and presentations to existing and prospective supporters in a highly consultative fashion, including attendance/participation at industry and medical society meetings and creation of capability decks, white papers, outcomes data
Adhere to all sales documentation SOPs including consistent, complete and on-going documentation in Salesforce (SF) for the entire Grant Strategy team
Keeps abreast of supporter news, market conditions, competitive activities, educational and technological trends through ongoing research and engagement at industry and medical conferences, literature reviews and other sources
Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets
Skills and Requirements:
Must demonstrate a strong practical knowledge of CME, CE, and the related ACCME, Joint Accreditation, and other relevant policies, standards and requirements and guidelines
At least 3-10 years of experience, and a demonstrated record of success, related to identification and acquisition of independent education grant support, or have worked in medical affairs or IME department
Ability to understand and present scientific and clinical concepts in live presentations and in writing
Demonstrated success managing a team of Grant Strategists to internal and external goals
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively, especially with tight timelines, both independently and as part of a team
Ability to travel to supporters, events and NACE corporate office
Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline or field, but a clinical degree a plus

The salary range for this position is $135,000-$165,000 base salary plus eligible for commission based pay and variable compensation. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, skill level, functional and/or industry knowledge, education level, certifications, as well as other qualifications.
