This role drives enterprise-wide efforts to reduce denials and write-offs by facilitating cross-functional collaboration, delivering actionable analytics, and leading prevention initiatives with measurable impact. Reporting to the Vice President of Revenue Cycle, the Manager leads denial taskforce coordination, data trend analysis, action planning, and mitigation strategy development to support operational improvements and better reimbursement outcomes. Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between operational revenue cycle leaders and IT teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project priorities and technology solutions. Translate complex operational problems and performance improvement opportunities into well-defined IT tickets, project scopes, and requirements. Collaborate with operational leaders and IT stakeholders to prioritize, scope, and coordinate IT initiatives that address revenue cycle and related workflow challenges. Provide insight to optimize the governance model, facilitating collaboration between operational project managers and IT to deliver impactful technology solutions. Lead enterprise-wide revenue cycle analytics initiatives, align insights with organizational financial strategy and continuous improvement goals. Develop and implement predictive analytics models and AI-driven tools to identify revenue leakage and opportunities for performance improvement. Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, translating data into actionable insights that influence enterprise decision-making. Champion the integration of emerging technologies (e.g., machine learning, robotic process automation) to optimize revenue cycle operations. Establish cross-functional governance structures to ensure accountability and measurable outcomes for performance improvement initiatives. Oversee revenue cycle-wide processes including denials and write-off prevention, vendor management, data insights, and systems applications support teams. Analyze, interpret, and summarize revenue cycle data components; monitor KPIs to identify and lead process improvement opportunities. Conduct risk assessments to achieve KPI targets and provide mitigation recommendations. Coordinate with operational leaders and stakeholders to develop action plans to achieve top-decile performance. Develop and manage A/R and performance improvement issue logs, quantify impact, and prioritize solutions within functional areas. Support execution of metric improvement solutions by providing data and insights to operational leaders for targeted actions. Prepare status reports and action-oriented summaries for executive leaders; attend and co-lead metric and project calls with senior management. Develop polished presentations and deliver updates for senior leaders; stay informed on industry best practices and emerging technology solutions. Extrapolate market and payer trends and coordinate with operational leaders and other stakeholders to support action plans for top decile metric performance. Develop and manage A/R and performance improvement issue logs, quantifying impact and prioritizing solutions within functional areas. Support the execution of metric improvement solutions by providing necessary data and insights to take targeted actions. Prepare status reports and action-oriented summaries for executive leaders across the system; attend and co-lead metric and project calls with senior management and support staff. Develop polished presentations and deliver organized updates for senior leaders across the health system. Stay informed on industry best practices, healthcare revenue cycle trends, and emerging technology solutions to continually enhance the organization’s capabilities. Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this job is $115,000 - $145,000. This range represents a good faith estimate of pay at the time of posting. Actual salary will vary based on factors including skills, experience, and travel. This role is eligible for Huron’s annual incentive compensation program and benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, and wellness programs).
