Overview A global investment firm with established presence in technology, healthcare, and growth sectors is seeking a Senior Security Administrator/Engineer to join the team at the Boston, Massachusetts headquarters. The role focuses on coordinating, maintaining, and augmenting the company’s security framework to bolster protection against cyber threats. You will be involved in protecting systems that manage the company’s portfolio of over $30 billion in investments and will contribute to security across endpoints, IAM, SIEM, threat intel, forensics, and anti-malware. The position also offers leadership opportunities and collaboration with executives, including the Chief Compliance Officer/CIO/CISO.

Responsibilities

Oversee the coordination, maintenance, and augmentation of the company’s security framework to bolster protection against cyber threats.

Protect systems that manage the company’s portfolio of over $30 billion in investments.

Work on endpoints, IAM solutions, SIEM system logging and incident detection, threat intelligence, forensics, and anti-malware.

Collaborate with the Enterprise Services team to analyze and measure security system success for endpoint users.

Provide security dashboard updates to company executives; collaborate with the Chief Compliance Officer/CIO/CISO and participate in high-impact decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with specific skills in compliance and risk management as well as network security engineering.

Proficiency in security controls and standards, including Microsoft IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS.

Significant experience administering SIEM systems, IDS/IPS, PKI, IDAM systems, antivirus and firewall systems.

Working knowledge of EDR and DLP strategies, file integrity monitoring, threat intelligence platforms, and deception technologies.

Technical and analytical background in technology design and implementation to deliver measurable results in monitoring and response capabilities.

Responsible and trustworthy work ethic, and effective communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

CISSP, SANS certification (GSE); CISM.
