To grow our liver center and transplant program. MD degree (or equivalent) and experience in clinical hepatology is required. Experience in transplant hepatology or a separate fellowship for transplant is considered a major plus. Management of end-stage liver disease, viral hepatitis and liver cancer constitutes a major part of our inpatient and outpatient practice. UIC is a large liver transplant center and is looking to expand its outreach substantially.

UIC is a large liver transplant center and is looking to expand its outreach substantially. Academic productivity is expected and candidates with an interest in scholarly activity are encouraged to join our established program. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

MD degree (or equivalent) and experience in clinical hepatology is required. Experience in transplant hepatology or separate fellowship for transplant is considered a major plus.

Preferred Qualifications

MD or DO degree, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology requirements are welcome to apply regardless of current visa status.
