SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a

Data Scientist

to support our Aberdeen Research Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community. Primary Duties And Responsibilities

Leverage data science techniques to design scalable pipelines, analyze complex datasets, and drive data-driven decisions. This includes applying computational tools, machine learning, and statistical analysis to experimental data, data pipeline and workflow development. Design and implement robust, automated workflows for processing and analyzing diverse data types. Optimize data pipelines to improve efficiency, scalability, and reproducibility. Leverage high-performance computing (HPC) or cloud resources to handle large datasets and complex analyses. Data Analysis and Modeling: Clean, structure, and prepare data for analysis, ensure accuracy and consistency; apply advanced statistical techniques and machine learning models to identify patterns and extract insights; collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine predictive models tailored to research goals. Feature Engineering and Innovation: Develop novel approaches for feature extraction, engineer actionable features from raw data to enhance model performance, and implement custom algorithms to address unique research challenges. Visualization and Communication: Create clear visualizations to present findings, communicate results through reports and presentations, and document workflows for reproducibility. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages. Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau. Strong foundation in machine learning, data modeling, and statistical analysis. Preferred Experience

Familiarity with handling complex datasets from experimental or scientific contexts. Knowledge of HPC, cloud computing, or distributed systems for large-scale data processing. About Us
