Electrician
to join our team in a high-paced food manufacturing environment. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in compliance with electrical codes and food safety regulations. About Freshpack:

Duties/Responsibilities: Plan, install, and maintain 3-phase power distribution, motor control centers, and plant-wide electrical systems Lead electrical troubleshooting, upgrades, and installations on high-speed production and packaging equipment Ensure all work complies with NED, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local codes, including food pant-specific sanitary requirements Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and ensure proper circuit protection across plant systems Specify, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and automation components in collaboration with controls/automation teams Provide technical leadership on capital projects, equipment installations, and plant expansions Coordinate with QC, Sanitation, and Production to minimize impact on food safety and production schedules Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for electrical failures and implement long-term corrective actions Manage documentation including electrical drawings, schematics, PM records, and panel schedules Assist in maintaining the plant's electrical infrastructure including generators, UPS systems, and lighting Drive compliance with food industry electrical standards (eg, stainless enclosures, sealed conduit, hygienic practices) Ensure Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), arc Flash labeling, and electrical safe work practices are followed Shift 1st shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday, some Saturdays as needed Requirements:
Qualifications: Valid Master Electrician License 7+ years of industrial electrical experience, with at least 3 years in a food manufacturing or sanitary production environment Strong understanding of electrical theory, NEC, NFPA 70E, and industrial food safety standards Proven experience with 480V 3-phase systems, MCCs, control panels, and motor circuits Proficiency in reading and updating electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and one-lines Working knowledge of PLC programming, VFD tuning, and industrial networking is a plus Capable of performing electrical calculations and specifying proper electrical equipment for food-grade environments Familiar with GMPs, HACCP, and food safety protocols affecting electrical work Experience with sanitary/hygienic conduit installations (sealed fittings, stainless enclosures) preferred Familiarity with food-grade automation (weighers, fillers, conveyors, CIP systems) preferred Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Work Environment: Fast-paced food manufacturing environment with exposure to temperature variations, moisture, noise, and industrial equipment.
