Mid Data Scientist (Supply Chain & Weapons Production Networks)
Join to apply for the Mid Data Scientist (Supply Chain & Weapons Production Networks) role at Prescient Edge. Overview
Mid Data Scientist role at Prescient Edge focused on supporting defense analytics through extraction of intelligence insights from datasets using a range of analytical, statistical, and mathematical tools and methods. Responsibilities
Supports defense analytical requirements by extracting intelligence insights from datasets through a variety of analytical, statistical, and mathematical tools and methods. Applies critical thinking and advanced methodologies to communicate quantitative findings to support analytic processes, products, and conclusions. Develop and maintain products that increase analytic fidelity, inform and focus collection, and support decision-making. Conduct research; identify and collect all-source data; clean, prepare, and analyze data; ensure alignment with analytic requirements; and integrate insights into all-source intelligence products. Research, analyze, prepare, review, edit, integrate and publish complex all-source intelligence, data, charts, visual presentations, reports and assessments in coordination with Agency elements and Intelligence Community components. Apply advanced all-source analytic methodologies and tools to identify trends, evaluate alternatives, and assist in model formulation or experimental test design. Collaborate with subject-matter experts to translate requirements or key intelligence questions into concrete analytic tasks. Develop innovative analytic approaches to problems with incomplete or controversial data, validate analytical conclusions, and present findings. Solve problems using Excel, SQL, R, Python or statistical analysis, and create visualizations to illustrate findings. Acquire, curate, integrate and maintain all-source analytic information through its full life cycle. Inform assessments by extracting analytic insights from data and evaluate datasets to meet mission needs. Utilize analysis/collection tools, intelligence databases, and other mechanisms for sharing relevant intelligence information. Identify significant intelligence gaps, specify collection requirements, evaluate resulting data, and determine analytic approaches to incorporate data into all-source production. Identify significant trends and propose new or revised analytic products to alert decision-makers and meet customer requirements. Corroborate data in support of Agency and IC partner analytic activities to enable deeper understanding of issues and findings. Research augmenting or automating all-source analytic processes using AI and/or machine learning models to gain efficiencies and minimize human error. Security Clearance
Security clearance required TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY. Requirements
