The Work
Provide recommendations during planning and design phases regarding constructability, phasing, logistics and operations interface to minimize costs and service disruptions.
Assist with development of front-end contractor documents as required.
Support risk identification and mitigation.
Support the establishment of CM standards in safety, scheduling, contract change management, and quality plans.
Assist in CM procurement activities, including scope development, evaluation criteria, and level of effort estimates.
Prepare rough order of magnitude costs for construction and construction change items.
Assist in oversight of CM contracts for capital projects.
Coordinate construction activities among transit operations, infrastructure, and contractors.
Assist in quality assurance for construction phase processes and deliverables.
Attend Construction Project Progress Meetings and related meetings to facilitate schedule and issue resolution, emphasizing quality and consistency.
Assist with management of the Adjacent Construction program.
Lead and/or assist in the development of Program Enhancements to improve overall quality, efficiency and consistency (e.g., Change Management, look-ahead construction planning, ROW flagging support, bidding improvements, CM/Construction Contract procurements, specification updates).
Flexible: The work location includes a mix of remote, client-site, or Accenture office/center work.
Some in-person time for collaboration, learning and relationship building with clients, peers and leaders.
Compensation
$110,000 - $190,000 a year. Compensation varies by location, role, skill set and experience. A reasonable range is provided for roles in certain U.S. states per local law.
What You’ll Need
Minimum of 8 years of Project Management and/or Construction Management experience
Experience on large public agency construction programs
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or other construction-related engineering discipline
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience with transit projects
Expert understanding of construction industry processes and procedures
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project Management Information Software
Ability to complete deliverables on time while managing multiple assignments
Strong verbal and written communication and active listening skills
