Senior Utilities & Facilities Planning Engineer - Relocate to Saudi Arabia, Permanent Expat Relocation Package This position requires full relocation to Saudi Arabia. It is a permanent full-time expat relocation package. Please note only referred candidates will be contacted. We are seeking a Utilities & Facilities Planning Engineer to join our Facilities Planning Division under the Support Facilities Planning Department. The Facilities Planning Division is responsible for developing the Saudi Aramco Capital Program, long-term plans that focus on value creation and optimal options for capital projects, as well as front-end planning. The primary role is to lead the development of business case evaluations, master planning, project design basis scoping, and to conduct special techno-economic studies to identify new capital investment opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Develop non-electrical utilities capital projects from feasibility assessment to full funding, including scope of work development, economic justification, alternatives assessment, and value improvement. Lead the Integrated Project Team (IPT) during the study and scoping phases of the project. Develop the non-electrical utilities scope for major crude, gas, refining, and chemical programs. Conduct engineering studies to establish project business case and economic viability. Assess feasible alternatives for capital projects and perform economic evaluations to identify optimal project solutions. Perform project specification reviews during the detailed engineering phase to ensure economic design and conformance with Design Basis Scoping Papers. Develop executive-level briefings, memos, presentations, and documents on capital investment and other special study items. Mentor Utilities Planning engineers. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Advanced degrees are highly preferred. Minimum of 20 years of experience in non-electrical utilities systems technologies, scope development, design, economics and execution, including at least 5 years in business case evaluation and assessment for various non-electrical utilities systems, leadership of major engineering studies and design packages. Experience with oil, gas, and chemical processes and industry. Knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, design details, codes, standards, and specifications. Ability to demonstrate development of strategies and feasibility studies for upgrading or replacing installed systems. Working Environment
