Overview

Unreasonable Studios (UNR) is seeking a Client Services Director to lead client relationships and drive business growth across a growing slate of branded content and creative campaigns. The ideal candidate will be an experienced client lead and team manager who understands how to balance strategic insight, creative thinking, extensive production experience and seamless day-to-day execution. This person will represent UNR in key client and agency conversations, ensure we are delivering against business and creative goals, and lead a team of client services managers to execute projects from brief to delivery. This role also plays a key part in business development—identifying new opportunities, nurturing relationships, and helping grow the studio’s profile as a best-in-class production partner. Key Responsibilities

Lead client relationships, acting as a trusted partner and strategic advisor. Manage and mentor a team of client service professionals across multiple projects and verticals. Work closely with internal creative, production, and strategy teams to ensure work aligns with client objectives. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and scopes to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Develop strategic recommendations, pitch materials, and client presentations. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with brands, agencies, and partners. Collaborate with leadership on new business pitches and capabilities presentations. Attend industry events and proactively network to increase visibility and open new doors. Help shape and refine UNR’s positioning, case studies, and marketing materials to support outreach and growth. Build long-term relationships with partners that lead to repeat work and deeper collaboration. Qualifications

8+ years of experience in client services, account management, or similar roles, preferably within branded content, digital marketing, or production companies. Demonstrated success managing client relationships and internal teams across complex projects. Proven track record in business development or new client acquisition. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Passion for storytelling, culture, and creativity. Must be based in or willing to relocate to Detroit.
