The Enterprise Innovation group works side-by-side with the AbbVie executive team on high-impact issues across the organization. This role partners with leaders to optimize the value of AbbVie’s portfolio and supports mission-critical initiatives spanning the drug development and commercialization value chain. Responsibilities
Drive end-to-end strategic innovation and execution on anAbbVie Enterprise Critical asset in partnership with the Asset Strategy Team and content-focused delivery teams. Areas include strategic planning, scenario evaluation, and data-driven problem solving across drug development (product development, manufacturing, trial design, evidence package evaluation, clinical acceleration, commercial presentation). Lead end-to-end strategic innovation across AbbVie’s highest priority commercial questions in partnership with commercial leadership, brand teams and cross-functional stakeholders. Focus areas include strategic planning, commercial execution, launch planning, portfolio positioning, HCP engagement, patient activation, and market access strategy. Support strategic initiatives that address mission-critical questions and position AbbVie for future success. Lead modules within complex, cross-functional initiatives, driving problem-solving processes and distilling pragmatic recommendations for management. Monitor external trends relevant to the enterprise and help determine how AbbVie should prepare and respond. Help communicate our strategy across AbbVie. Qualifications
Bachelors or equivalent required. Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MBA) highly preferred. 4+ years with Bachelors; 3+ with Master’s; 2+ with PhD in a competitive, fast-paced environment (e.g., management consulting, pharmaceutical R&D, manufacturing). Experience managing large projects within a complex matrixed organization as a consultant to a pharmaceutical organization or as an internal cross-functional lead. Ability to present data and metrics to executive leadership to drive better business outcomes. Collaborative team player with facilitative leadership in a cross-functional global environment; ability to influence and align stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; strong analytical capabilities to evaluate complex issues from multiple perspectives. Hybrid work model requiring three onsite days per week in appropriate AbbVie offices. Additional Information
Compensation ranges and benefits vary by location; base pay range listed reflects typical ranges for roles with this title, subject to geographic location and other factors.
