Enterprise Credit Summer Analyst Program 2026 - Global Corporate & Investment Banking Credit and Global Markets Credit. Join to gain exposure to credit underwriting, monitoring and product management across Bank of America’s eight lines of business, with on-the-job training, classroom instruction, and mentorship. This program is for the Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB) and Global Markets Credit track. What to Expect Day To Day
Over the ten-week program you will participate in a variety of day-to-day activities depending on the credit portfolio to which you are aligned. You will be paired with a senior team of credit professionals and may work with different types of companies and institutions. Potential activities include: Review and analyze company financial information and industry/competitor trends Complete cash-flow analysis to assess debt incurrence and repayment capacity Identify, define and mitigate key credit risks Participate in loan structure conversations and completion of loan documentation Review and evaluate collateral to determine credit worthiness and ensure requirements are met Attend client meetings/calls to understand the client’s business, management and performance trends Perform periodic client monitoring activities Develop product knowledge across a wide range of credit products Understand how credit data is used internally and provided to regulatory partners Develop an understanding of various credit policies and procedures Tracks
The Enterprise Credit program has six tracks to support the eight lines of business. Tracks include: Consumer Credit Global Wealth & Investment Management Credit (Supporting Merrill and Private Bank clients) Global Commercial Banking (GCB), Asset Based Finance and Commercial Real Estate Credit Global Corporate & Investment Banking and Global Markets Credit Leveraged Finance Credit – Acquisition Finance Data and Analytics and Business Controls/Process Optimization Global Corporate & Investment Banking and Global Markets Credit
Global Corporate & Investment Banking Credit – Provide credit to large multinational corporate clients, middle-market firms and emerging growth companies worldwide. This team is structured by industry sectors including the Global Renewable Energy Credit team and Leveraged Finance Credit team Global Markets Credit – Provide credit to support investment funds and other financial market participants with managing products such as debt, equity, commodities and foreign exchange Locations
Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, New York, San Francisco Qualifications
Students must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (or direct-to-Master’s) with a graduation timeframe between November 2026 and August 2027 Minimum 3.2 GPA preferred Common areas of study include but are not limited to: Corporate Finance, Accounting (12+ credit hours including upper-level courses), Economics, and related majors Strong academic and technical skills in Microsoft Office; demonstrated leadership, teamwork, problem solving, analytical skills, verbal and written communication, and professionalism Bank of America is unable to consider candidates that will require visa sponsorship now or in the future for this specific role.
