We are looking for a highly qualified Senior Cloud Data Engineer to lead our Cloud Data Modernization initiative. The successful candidate will play a key role in transitioning our on-premises Enterprise Data Warehouse to an advanced cloud-based data platform utilizing Azure Cloud tools and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the migration of ETL processes from an on-premises database data warehouse to Azure Cloud and Snowflake.
Design, develop, and implement data platform solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Self-hosted Integration Runtime (SHIR), Logic Apps, and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2), along with Blob Storage and Snowflake.
Analyze and review existing ETL processes developed in SSIS and T-SQL.
Implement DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitActions.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and data flow.
Optimize and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure data security and compliance with relevant industry standards.

Qualifications Required:
5+ years of experience as a Cloud Data Engineer.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Cloud tools (ADF, SHIR, LogicApps, ADLS Gen2, Blob Storage) and Snowflake.
3+ years of expertise in ETL development utilizing on-premises databases and related technologies.
3+ years of experience working with Python or other scripting languages for data processing.
2+ years of experience developing in Databricks for data engineering and analytics tasks.
Proficiency in DevOps and CI/CD practices using GitActions.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Exceptional analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.
A capacity to adapt to emerging technologies and learn rapidly.
Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Azure or Snowflake.
Experience with data modeling and database architecture.
Familiarity with data governance and best practices in data quality.
Exposure to other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).

The annual salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700, based on factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. In addition to salary, UnitedHealth Group offers comprehensive benefits including equity stock purchase plans and 401k contributions, all subject to eligibility requirements.
