We are looking for a Lead Healthcare Solutions Architect to join our team. In this crucial role, you will act as a trusted advisor to our key clients in the healthcare sector, working to shape and deliver innovative cloud, infrastructure, and security solutions that tackle the unique challenges faced by large healthcare organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Client Discovery & Strategic Alignment
Lead tailored discovery engagements with healthcare organizations, addressing mission-critical applications, operational workflows, and regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and HITECH.
Transform complex healthcare challenges into actionable, outcome-focused technical strategies.
Facilitate interviews and workshops with business and IT leadership to identify high-impact initiatives.
Engage with C-level stakeholders to connect IT transformation efforts to improved patient care and financial outcomes.
Design secure, scalable hybrid and multi-cloud environments with application availability, performance, and regulatory standards in focus.
Collaboration & Influence
Serve as a specialist across regional teams, leading technical efforts in major healthcare pursuits.
Collaborate with RapidScale's sales personnel, cloud solution architects, AI/ML experts, and security and compliance professionals to formulate pursuit strategies and solution roadmaps.
Contribute to RFPs, executive briefings, and solution validations tailored for healthcare applications.
Act as a subject matter expert, enhancing our expanding healthcare IT practice.
Security & Compliance
Construct secure environments that comply with HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST, and the latest CMS cybersecurity standards.
Assist clients with risk assessments, considerations for Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), and preparation for audits.
Thought Leadership & Education
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in healthcare IT, such as cloud-based clinical systems and AI/ML applications in diagnostics.
Educate clients on how RapidScale's solutions achieve healthcare objectives, including enhancing patient experience and optimizing costs.
Represent RapidScale at healthcare technology forums, panels, and strategic client discussions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8 years of experience in solutions engineering, architecture, or consulting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 5 years of direct experience in the healthcare sector.
Familiarity with clinical and administrative systems, including EHRs and interoperability standards like HL7/FHIR.
Deep understanding of healthcare operational priorities, including uptime for critical applications and funding constraints.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hosted Cloud / Data Center:
Strong knowledge of VMware, storage solutions, and VDI/DaaS environments tailored for healthcare workflows. Public Cloud:
Experience with hybrid architectures deploying AWS, Azure, and GCP specifically designed for healthcare applications. Security and Compliance:
Proven track record in creating secure solutions for protected health information (PHI), including disaster recovery and identity access management strategies. LAN/WAN Networking:
Capability to design and enhance connectivity strategies between facilities and cloud services. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
Extensive experience implementing high-availability solutions to meet healthcare uptime requirements and compliance needs. Compensation includes a base salary of $138,800.00 - $208,200.00, with additional annual incentive/commission opportunities.
