Responsibilities: Prepare patients for surgery by verifying their identity, surgical site, and procedure. Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process. Assist the surgical team during operations by passing instruments, managing surgical supplies, and ensuring the sterile field is maintained at all times. Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operation flow, anticipate needs, and respond to any changes in the patient's condition during surgery. Provide immediate post-operative care, monitor patients in the recovery room, and educate patients and their families about post-surgery care, including wound care and potential complications. Qualifications:
UT Registered Nurse license Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, Certified perioperative nurse (CNOR) certification is preferred 1-2 years of experience in operating room environment Job details:
