Our mission at Doorvest is to advance financial security for all. We are simplifying real estate investment to help more people build long-term wealth through high-quality rental homes, accessible online. We are a fintech company expanding our reach with a vertically integrated model that connects property management systems, real estate data providers, and financial service partners to Doorvest's platform. You will help design scalable architectures, develop customer-facing features and backend systems, and ensure integrations are clean, reliable, and future-proof. The Role — responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain serverless applications using Next.js, TypeScript, and AWS Lambda Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces that help customers easily invest in rental properties Develop internal tools and dashboards for the operations team Implement data analytics and monitoring to measure business performance Own end-to-end integration processes with external systems (property management platforms, MLS data feeds, mortgage APIs, title systems, financial service providers) Design robust integration pipelines to normalize and transform diverse datasets Develop reusable integration frameworks to speed onboarding of new data providers and partners Build monitoring and alerting to ensure integration reliability and data consistency Leverage AI/automation to process and structure unstructured real estate data and to accelerate development cycles Collaborate with CTO, CEO, Head of Product, and cross-functional teams to shape technical strategy Ensure scalable, high-quality code and maintainable systems for the growing real estate portfolio Qualifications
3+ years of experience in full-stack engineering or backend development Expertise in TypeScript/Node.js Experience with building across the stack, from UI to backend and data integration Bonus for experience with financial systems, real estate tech, or third-party API integrations Strong ownership mindset with ability to deliver end-to-end solutions Excellent collaboration and communication skills Tech stack
Frontend: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Material UI Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, Serverless Stack (SST) Data: Supabase, DynamoDB, AWS Aurora Infrastructure: AWS Lambda, AWS Serverless, CI/CD Integration: REST APIs, webhooks, real-time data streaming Observability: CloudWatch, custom dashboards Perks
