Koniag Data Solutions is seeking a skilled Power BI Automation Specialist to support our Program Management Office (PMO) in accelerating the adoption of Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) solutions for various Air Force applications. This role will focus on developing automated reporting solutions and interactive dashboards that track ICAM implementation progress, metrics, and outcomes. The ideal candidate combines deep Power BI expertise with automation skills to streamline data collection, analysis, and visualization processes. This position requires an active Secret security clearance. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: The Power BI Automation Specialist will design and implement automated reporting systems to track ICAM implementation across Air Force applications. Principal responsibilities include: Develop comprehensive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize ICAM implementation metrics and status

Create automated data collection processes to gather implementation data from multiple sources

Design and implement Power BI data models optimized for ICAM program reporting

Develop DAX measures and calculated columns to support complex analytics and KPIs

Configure automated data refresh schedules and alerting mechanisms

Create Power Automate flows to streamline data collection and reporting processes

Design executive-level dashboards that clearly communicate implementation progress to senior DoD officials

Implement row-level security and appropriate access controls for different user roles

Develop documentation for all dashboards, data models, and automation processes

Train PMO team members on dashboard usage and interpretation

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualizations

Continuously improve dashboards based on user feedback and evolving program needs

Education and Experience: Required: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field

3+ years of experience with Power BI development and implementation

Demonstrated experience with Power Automate (Flow) or similar automation tools

Experience with data modeling and ETL processes

Experience with ServiceNow.

Required Skills and Competencies: Advanced Power BI development skills, including custom visualizations and complex data models

Strong expertise in DAX formula language and Power Query (M)

Experience creating automated data workflows using Power Automate

Knowledge of data modeling best practices for reporting and analytics

Proficiency in designing intuitive and visually effective dashboards

Experience with data sources integration and API connectivity

Ability to translate complex requirements into functional reporting solutions

Experience with Power BI Service administration and deployment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels

Security Clearance Requirement: Active Secret security clearance

Desired Skills and Competencies: Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Data Factory, etc.)

Knowledge of ICAM concepts and metrics

Familiarity with DoD reporting requirements and formats

Experience with SharePoint integration and automated reporting

SQL query development expertise

Understanding of data governance principles and practices

Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics integration

Familiarity with project management metrics and KPIs

Experience supporting federal government projects

Knowledge of data privacy and security considerations in government environments

Experience creating reports for senior military and civilian leadership
