What You'll Do
T he Retention Specialist is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining a job retention system. This position will require you to work collaboratively with Case Manager, Job Developer, Sector Leads, participants, and other relevant staff to ensure participants are actively employed.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide group or individual job retention, maintenance support and counseling.
Assist participants with issues pertaining to work-related benefits and transitional benefits.
Research and verify 30-day to 90-day, and 180-day via fax, site visits, mail, and in-person appointments.
Maintain on-going contact with participants to identify any personal and social problems that may arise while being employed and make appropriate referrals for the resolution.
Facilitate group retention activities in order to help educate participants on benefits and work support as well as career advancement exploration.
Maintain contact with employers to verify employment, resolve any issues with their WeCARE participant workers, and ensure overall satisfaction with WeCARE relations.
Coordinate with job developers and Strategic Sector Lead teams to develop and maintain job retention information with employers on working participants.
Offer employment counseling and referrals to support services or additional educational programs.

You're a great fit for this role if you have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling or another related field preferred.
1 year of case management experience or related experience. Or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Bi-lingual (English Spanish) candidates preferred.
Compensation
$23.08-$25.00/hr.
