Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
Join an esteemed oil and gas manufacturer specializing in oil lubrication systems as a Warehouse Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for order pulling parts and materials for assemblers. While occasionally using a small forklift, the majority of tasks will be performed by hand when picking and packing. You will also track inventory using a computer system, stock parts, and pull orders for other assemblers.
Responsibilities
Pull orders for parts and materials needed by assemblers.
Operate a small forklift and perform manual picking and packing.
Track and manage inventory using computer systems.
Stock parts and process orders efficiently.
Assist in maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in warehouse operations and order pulling.
Basic counting skills and familiarity with inventory management.
Competence in using power tools and handling materials.
Experience with inventory control and cycle counts.
Strong computer skills, particularly in data entry and inventory systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Assembly experience is preferred.
Forklift operation experience is advantageous.
Extensive experience with computer inventory systems, such as SAP or ERP.

Work Environment
Work at a non-climate-controlled fabrication facility located in Houston, Texas, equipped with large fans to ensure comfortable working conditions. The team is comprised of approximately 10 workers, who are cross-trained in both electrical and mechanical assembly. The role operates on a first shift schedule from 6:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime based on production needs, including early starts at 5:00am during the summer. Safety attire includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
