Job Description:

SYSTEMS SPECIALIST SENIOR

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

Lead team operations, manage staff, and leverage advanced technical expertise to optimize processes and systems.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coach team members toward performance targets.

Apply technical knowledge to resolve complex operational issues.

Implement workflow enhancements using industry-standard tools.

Oversee compliance, safety, and system upgrades.

Monitor dashboards, identifies trends, and reports metrics to management.

Supports the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems

Supports the completion of specific projects

Provides technical solutions to a variety of difficult problems

Coordinates installation of new products, software, upgrades, and equipment

Monitors a wide range of systems hardware and software and performs regular maintenance on all software and associated equipment

Provides thorough review, back up, and systems updates regularly, documenting changes and systems operation

Monitors and supports of a wide range of security measures and standards for all computer software and hardware

Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedure related to computer systems and operations

Coaches and provides guidance to less-experienced professionals

Required Qualifications

Supervisory experience in a technical environment.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Deep expertise, can mentor others and tackle complex projects

Degree in Information Technology or equivalent technical certification.

Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Demonstrates a strong and comprehensive understanding of the skill.

Performs complex tasks independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Applies expertise to optimize processes, troubleshoot issues, and deliver quality results consistently.

Recognized as a reliable resource and often mentor's peers on best practices and advanced techniques.

Required Certs

Security+ PWS 9.1

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced technical certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, cybersecurity).

Experience with system integration and data analytics.

The likely salary range for this position is $89,250 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
