Job Description:The RoleAs a Senior Business Analyst, you blend deep experience in health care benefits and product development with a passion for analysis, harnessing technology to solve complex business problems, while focusing to deliver and implement technology solutions within a digital experience. You will work closely with a Product Owner (Squad Leader) and technology teams to create, prioritize, and maintain product backlog, as well as translate business requirements to technical resources to focus the team on delivering business solutions with the highest customer value. You are energized by the prospect of joining a dynamic, innovative team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and date driven environment!The Team The Business Analyst (BA) is part of the Fidelity Health Solutions' Business Analyst Chapter (team), which supports product development across multiple health care domains. The BA works on a multi-functional Agile scrum team (squad), partnering with technology and business customers to develop and implement digital product and service features in health care applications from inception to delivery. These squads will continue to bring new Healthcare capabilities to our digital experiences within NetBenefits or our Mobile App.The Expertise and Skills You BringBachelor's degree preferred3 - 5+ years Systems Development Business Analyst experience, ideally working in an Agile Scrum environment, with proven ability to work across multiple multi-functional teamsSolid understanding of the Fidelity business with work experience in health care and/or benefits administration and/or product developmentShown expertise in various business analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.Solid grasp of the architecture and deployment needed to support web developmentInteract closely with Subject Matter Experts and partners across Fidelity Health Benefits domain to elicit Product requirementsAbility to work on web and mobile application needsWork with UXD teams to support prototypingSkilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio; Experience with JIRA or similar agile backlog management and testing toolCertified Business Analysis Professional® (CBAP®) certification or Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is a plusSkilled at translating business vision into defined and prioritized user stories for team's backlogAbility to understand sophisticated customer needs, translate them into user stories with concrete acceptance criteria, and drive solution formulation with a multi-functional teamCustomer-obsessed and have demonstrated a commitment to delivering frequent, high business value featuresLook for opportunities to innovate and take thoughtful risks to get work done better and fasterExcellent listening, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skillsYou effectively and regularly lead, facilitate, and drive individuals and group meetings to common goalsYou are highly organized and have a strong ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlinesSkilled at building relationships, fostering strong teams, and influencing othersYou are a self-motivated, great teammate with the ability to plan and complete work independently, and partner effectively to handle dependenciesYou have excellent business judgement and maintain confidentiality of all dataProviding consulting, support, and guidance to leadership, squad members, and other relevant partners to influence culture and behaviorsThe Value You DeliverWorking in a Scrum Agile environment to deliver softwareLeading and conducting business analyses to formulate and make recommendationsIdentifying and defining solutions to business problems, through creation and documentation of systems and process specificationsCreating, documenting, and leading scrum team backlog (writing user stories / acceptance criteria, supporting prioritization, running refinement sessions, etc.)Collaborate closely with business partners, development teams, external vendors, and QA on plans, project management, requirements, design, testing, and implementation of solutions throughout the development lifecycleSupporting deployment, business readiness, and solution enablement, e.g., defining and documenting enablement tasks, supporting user procedure documentation, creation and delivery of solution training to internal teams, and communicationPrioritize multiple initiatives and business analysis tasks at the same timeCertifications:Category:Product ManagementMost roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.
