In this role you will support multiple operating locations to include Colorado Springs, the National Capital Region, and other Continental United States (CONUS) locations. The qualified applicant will design, implement and maintain the Linux Information Technology (IT) systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)) and will design the basic computing infrastructure to accomplish key tasks, establish networking rules for cybersecurity and troubleshoot Linux system errors or other technical issues. Candidate must have strong troubleshooting and communication skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills: Advanced technical competency in multiple of the following supported platforms: Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers, Red Hat Satellite, Ansible, Red Hat Virtualization Experience maintaining smooth operation of multiple DoD baseline environments (Production, Test, Development) across multiple classification levels Extensive knowledge and experience with VMware and virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware/ESXi/Xen Hypervisors), as well as configuring and maintaining server hardware/infrastructure Provides tier 3 technical support for all Linux platforms Perform oversight of the development, implementation, and evaluation of information system security program policy; special emphasis placed upon integration of existing SAP network infrastructures. Ensure that the organization's information technology system is operating at maximum efficiency, from manufacturing to distribution. Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools. Integrate COTS & GOTS products to collect, display and remediate a variety of automated system security and system operations/performance functions and metrics. Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes. Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies. Basic Microsoft knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, SQL Server 2012, Internet Information services (IIS), and Windows 10/11 Experience with interpretation and application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) / Security Requirement Guides (SRGs) Contributes to the planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification and awareness activities for system and networking operations. Knowledge of enterprise networking fundamentals, to include Dell/Cisco IOS familiarity (Firewalls, Routers) Speak to and collaborate with a variety of people, such as clients, vendors, management and IT staff during the creation and maintenance of a system Provides expert level consultation and technical services on all aspects of Information System Development Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks Build operational Operations and Maintenance (O&M) checklists to maintain the service (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly O&M checklists); build Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) associated with service checklists Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative, and willingness to learn new tools and concepts quickly High level of self-motivation, ability to define, manage, and prioritize tasks in a team environment 100% onsite is required in Colorado Springs, CO Must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or other relevant Engineering field from an accredited university with minimum 8 years of experience Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Secret Compartmented Information (SCI) Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph to achieve SAP security Clearance within 6 months of hire Possess a DoD 8140.03/8570.01 Information Assurance Technical II certification or able to obtain within 6 months of hire: Cisco Certified Network Associate-Security (CCNA-Security), Cybersecurity Analyst Plus (CySA+), Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), CompTIA Security+ (Security+), Certified Network Defender (CND), or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) Must have the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Desired Skills: Knowledge and experience with Cloud Computing, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker, and Kubernetes Experience with installation and maintenance of authentication/authorization software e.g. Active Directory, Identity Management (IdM) Experience with configuration management Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.
