Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer III to join their team. As an Embedded Software Engineer III, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a passion for developing cutting-edge embedded systems which will align successfully in the organization.

70-80/hr + Benefits
12 month contract, possible extension
What's the Job?
Develop low-level, embedded software components in C including microcode, system RTOS, DSP algorithms, and PHY/MAC firmware.
Develop Board Support Packages (BSPs), drivers, kernels, and software for managing hardware peripherals (e.g., I2C, PCIe).
Work closely with hardware engineering teams and software counterparts to define firmware/software interfaces.
Coordinate execution of firmware releases, including running and reporting on validation tests.
Participate in code reviews and maintain good code hygiene.
What's Needed?
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
1+ years of experience developing embedded software/firmware that uses wireless communications in microcontroller-based systems.
4+ years of experience in the use of the C language for systems or firmware software development.
Experience with Cortex-M or similar architecture microcontroller-based system design.
Ability to autonomously identify, report, and solve problems with minimal direction.
