Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/29/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Title: CT Technologist Location: Newark, NY Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (15:00 - 23:00) Job Responsibilities: Perform CT imaging procedures including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and musculoskeletal scans with and without contrast in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols. Operate and maintain imaging equipment (Client systems, PACS) and ensure high-quality diagnostic images for accurate interpretation. Utilize advanced post-processing techniques such as 3D rendering, MRP, and ROI measurements to enhance diagnostic capabilities. Prepare and administer IV contrast media safely while adhering to radiation safety and isolation precaution standards. Provide excellent patient care in an adult acute care setting, ensuring patient comfort and proper positioning during procedures. Document procedures using the EPIC charting system and follow departmental guidelines for workflow and communication. Float to other units as needed and work independently during mid-shift hours (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), Wednesday through Sunday. Maintain compliance with NY state licensure, ARRT (R), and BLS certifications.
