This position is responsible for preparing food items for all suite orders, catering functions, and possibly some concession items. Fulfill the service per each suite order and Banquet Event Orders (BEO). Maintain all kitchen equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance. Show creativity in designing food presentations. Prepare all recipes as directed. Must take direction well. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following all proper food handling and preparation guidelines as directed. Performs other duties as assigned. Daily contact with the Executive Chef, Premium Services Manager, Catering Staff, and other Arena employees. Assists in the supervision of temporary labor staff when applicable. This position requires stooping, lifting, and substantial standing and walking. Must be able to lift 30 lbs to the shoulder. Works primarily in the main kitchen and possibly in the concession stands within the facility. Must possess previous experience in a sporting venue or banquet facility preparing meals for large events. Must possess the knowledge of proper food handling and preparation procedures. Must possess the ability to be creative with buffet food presentations and produce a quality product while paying strict attention to detail. Must possess the ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks. Must possess the ability to stand and walk for substantial periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds up to the shoulder. Must possess the ability to work hours as dictated by events. Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, work as a team, and have reliable transportation. Must possess the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
